Library in Westside Hosts Website Class

The Northwest Atlanta Library, a branch of the Atlanta/Fulton County Libraries, is hosting a “Wix for Beginners” class on Monday, May 22 from 5:30 – 6:30pm.

Recommended for adults, this class with dive into the world of Wix, and will try to help you build your own website using the program. To register for the class, call this number at 404-613-4364. To find out more about things on the Westside, click here.

Westside’s Calypso St. Barth Hosting Trunk Show This Weekend

Savannah Bee Co. Coming to Westside Provisions District

westside-savannah-bee.pngThe Georgia-based Savannah Bee Co. is opening another location at Westside Provisions District this summer. The store offers artisanal honeys and honey-based healthy and beauty products.

The shop will have all kinds of honey selection including Tupelo, acacia, sourwood, orange blossom, and wildflower honey.

The store will also feature a children’s area, workshops and classes. There will be daily honey tastings and a mead bar for honey-wine tastings.

A portion of Savannah Bee’s profits will go to The Bee Cause project, which helps preserve honeybees.

Brick + Mortar Sells Hand-Poured Candles on the Westside

You can find lovely hand-poured candles at the Brick+Mortar shop in the Westside. Each candle, made with pure soy wax,  has a combination of essential oils and fragrance. This creates a stronger scent and gives a longer turn time than other kinds of waxes.

The shop specializes in nostalgic southern scents. They also offer half prices refills for a candle you have burned through. You can get your freshly new, re-wicked candle within a week!

Westside’s Pure Barre Has Great Sales Right Now

The Pure Barre in Westside has some new discounts right now. There is a new student discount for all college students where they can get four months, or one semester for only $115 a month (it is normally $179 a month).

There is also a new teacher/nonprofit employee/military discount for six months at $125 a monthly (normally $179 a month).

A discount for new moms includes a six month deal for $125 monthly, instead of the normal $179. Also, engaged omen can get the same deal of $125/month for six months.

If you want to sign up for a year, you can get a 12 month membership for $149 a month, instead of the normal $179 a month.
