The build-out of a McAlister’s Deli started in the West Midtown Center on the corner of Northside and 17th.
This location will be the first in Atlanta and will be a new prototype and “test location” for the restaurant chain. The 3,100 square-foot space will be a new look, and residents will play a role in the brand’s future because of the feedback they will provide. There will be new menu items as well.

The bottle shop and craft bar Hop City Craft Beer & Wind will join the Lee + White Development on the Westside of Atlanta. The 6,000 square foot location will be next to Monday Night Brewing.
It will include a second floor restaurant with a deck and garage doors, and it’s expected to open fall 2018.

McAlister’s Deli will open another chain in the West Midtown Center which will open at 1299 Northside Drive.
It is estimated that $646,000 will be spent on a 3,351 square-foot building. McAlister’s has delicious sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts.

Newk’s Eatery, a fast-casual dinery, is coming to the Kroger on Howell Mill Rd. in the Westside. It will take up two suites which were formally rented by Mama Niki’s Pizza. The other restaurants at Howell Mill Square are American Deli, Chin Chin, and Subway.

Four-time World Pizza Champion Giulio Adriani is opening The Local Pizzaiolo on the Westside this week.
The Neapolitan-inspired pizzeria is one of four planned Atlanta-area locations. If you make a $2 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank or No Kid Hungry, you will get a free piece of pizza.
There will be a grand opening event on Tuesday, January 23 from 4 – 7pm. The other locations Adriani plans to open are in Madison Park, Toco Hills, and Sandy Springs.

Twelve Hotel is getting a new Italian restaurant, called Allora. This is a new restaurant concept from Concentrics Restaurants. Twelve Hotel is located in Atlantic Station, on the Westside of Atlanta.
There will be home-made pastas, specialty pizzas, inslatas, tapas and more. There is a curated wine list, signature and classic cocktails, crafts in cans, bottles and on draft.
The space will be industrial theme with leathers and woods, with rustic touches, chef’s tables, and covered outdoor patio. Allora is replaces Lobby Bar & Bistro.
A new restaurant called Howell’s is opening in the Westside. The 4,888 square foot restaurant will offer a pizza-focused menu, and will include entrees such as smoked baby back ribs, salmon filet, and steak frites. Chef Rob Phillip is behind the restaurants, backed by the Hearth Tavern Team, which also opened Atwoods Pizza, Hearth Tavern, and Camps Kitchen & Bar.
The exact location will be in the Howell Mill development in the Channing Valley neighborhood, at 1952 Howell Mill Road, which is a mix of new and renovated suites. This is at the corner intersection of Howell Mill Rd. and Collier Rd.
